The Relic of St. Teresa of Calcutta

THE RELIC OF ST. TERESA OF CALCUTTA will be in Thurles Cathedral from Sunday July 16th until Tuesday July 18th. St. Teresa is renowned as a model of mercy and worked most of her life with the poor and homeless in India. The relic is being brought to every diocese in the country under the care and protection of the Knights of St. Columbanus.

Full Itinerary as follows:

Sunday July 16th:  6.30 p.m. – Arrival at Cathedral of the Assumption; 7.00 p.m. – Eucharistic Devotions; 7.30 – 9.30 p.m. – Veneration of the Relic.

Monday July 17th: 8.00 a.m. Mass followed by Veneration of the Relic; 11.00 a.m. Mass followed by Veneration of the Relic; 7.30 p.m. Mass followed by Veneration of the Relic.

Tuesday July 18th: 8.00 a.m. Mass followed by Veneration of the Relic; 11.00 a.m. Mass followed by Veneration of the Relic; 3.00 p.m. – Departure of Relic.
